St Michael's was represented by 4 projects at this year’s BT Young Scientist and Technology exhibition, with the school topping the number of entries by a single school in Meath. Well done to all our BT Young Scientists on their participation in this year’s exhibition. The projects this year covered a wide and fascinating array of areas. There was ‘Stopping the shake’ by Katie Rattigan and Hannah Nugent, ‘Equine Learning Theory and Biomechanics ‘ by Sarah Hanley and ‘The Effect of Temperature on the effectiveness of Probiotic Drinks’ by Katie Langford and Heather Mitchell. Special congratulations to our prize winner Eleanor Murchan who took second place in the intermediate technology group with her investigation into an Improved Method to Help Visually Impaired People Identify Euro Notes
