In what was undoubtedly the highlight of science week 2nd years Class Edels and Class Emmas took part in Scifest@school.

Well done to all the second years who took part on the day, the standard was extremely high and the judges found picking a winner very difficult.
Congratulations to Aimee Shanley-Brookes, Lauren Kearny and Leanne O'Neill who took first place with their project on Fingerprints
Second place went to Hannah O'Dea, Serena O'Brien, Emily Muldoon, Loaise McDermott and Patricia Martinez with their project on the pH of plants
Third place went to Megan Fox and Amber Baxter with their project exploring our sense of smell.
